Authentication
We use Entrupy and Bababebi to authenticate bags, except for those not supported by these services. In these cases, authentication is carried out in-house by our team of experts. Each item undergoes a thorough examination to ensure its authenticity. If an item is found to be non-authentic, we will not list it for sale, and it will be destroyed.
Services and Products
-Product Representation: We make every effort to ensure that product images and descriptions accurately represent the items available for sale. However, due to variations in lighting and in-person viewing, we recommend visiting the boutique to see the items up close.
- Pricing and Changes: All prices, product descriptions, and images are subject to change without notice. Prices may vary based on availability, demand, and other market factors.
Item Descriptions
Each item is thoroughly inspected before being listed for sale. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of historical information or anecdotes about items. We reserve the right to amend or update item descriptions as necessary.
Personal Information
- ID Verification: For in-store purchases over £8,000, we recommend clients bring a valid form of ID (passport or driving license) for verification. No proof of address is required.
- Privacy: Any personal information provided to Londonbear will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties, except for marketing and order fulfilment purposes.
The Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse any services to any individual or business at any time, in accordance with the law. However, we will never refuse service based on a protected characteristic (e.g., race, sex, disability, religion, etc.), as outlined in the Equality Act 2010. If you feel you have experienced discrimination, we encourage you to report it by emailing info@londonbearltd.com.
Consignment Items
- No Refunds or Exchanges: Consignment items are final sale. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credit notes for any consignment stock. However, vouchers can be used towards the purchase of consignment items.
- Payment for Consignment: Payments for consignment items will be made within 2 working days once the item is sold.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Items marketed through our platform for individual private sellers are sold on a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) basis. Legal title to these items remains with the individual private seller until the point of sale.
As with many luxury resale platforms, all sales of such items are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for items sold on behalf of private sellers. This policy is in line with the current statutory framework.
Store-Owned Items (Sold Directly by Us)
Pre-owned items owned and sold directly by our store are also sold as described and are final sale. Due to the nature of pre-owned luxury goods, we do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges unless required by law.
Condition & Description
All items are priced according to their condition. Meticulous care is taken to inspect each item before it is shipped. Customers are strongly advised to review the product description and all photographs carefully before completing a purchase.
Authenticity Guarantee
We guarantee the authenticity of all items sold on our platform. In the unlikely event that an item is proven to be inauthentic, a full refund will be provided.
Refund for Counterfeit Items
We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell. If you purchase an item from us and it is proven to be counterfeit, we will provide you with a full refund of the purchase price. This refund is subject to verification by a third-party authentication report from a recognized and reputable institution. Please note that this is based solely on official authentication reports, not personal judgment.
